Bullwinkle reunited with his owner and home again

Bullwinkle — Home Again! 🏡

HOME. TOGETHER. AGAIN. ❤️

Bullwinkle has been reunited with his owner and is home again. His journey is a reminder of why Second Leash exists: a difficult chapter should not have to mean losing your best friend.

This is what we work toward for every family we serve — keeping dogs safe, loved, and connected to the people they belong with while life gets back on track.

Why stories are shared carefully

Stories help supporters understand the value of temporary foster care, but the people we serve deserve dignity and privacy. Second Leash avoids sensationalizing crisis, disclosing unnecessary personal information, or using a person's circumstances as a fundraising spectacle.

Help another family stay together.

Temporary foster homes give dogs a safe place to land while their people work toward stability and reunion.
